This week, we have IM Eye, the keyword drilling service that is trying to be the answer to Market Samurai or Keyword Elite in the middle of a HUGE launch with massive JV partners mailing and mailing about it.
I won’t be doing that.
I found that another, much simpler, less expensive, keyword tool is going to make these bigger and badder tools look like the overpriced tools that they are!
Push Button Keywords Is ON The Scene
This is one of those times when the Easy Button is set for your keyword researching needs. Shannon Lueck, the creator of Push Button Keywords, was happy to answer some of my questions about the warring keyword tools and how hers can make the job much easier to perform for MUCH less money per year!
Shannon, what do you think about the ability of IM Eye to drill into various keywords?
Sure, IM Eye gives you all these different areas to “drill down” and find amazing keyword phrases, however I don’t agree with their approach.
PBK gives you “exact on-page competing” and “exact off-page competing” sites and this is huge for helping you drill down to exactly what keyword phrases you want to go after while keeping everything VERY, VERY simple… because they have so many options[with IM Eye], I think people will be second guessing their decisions all the time.
That is why I kept PBK so simple, I want to make sure people can find absolutely amazing keyword phrases that they know, without a shadow of doubt, that they can rank for quickly and easily.
Where is all the search data coming from?
It appears to me, based on the monthly search volumes that they show, that they are pulling from many, many sources. This is ok, but again, I feel that PBK keeps it simple. It is pulling from the most important source only, Google.
We know that by looking at Google, we can truly determine what kind of market share we can get and if something is easy to rank for in Google and gets decent traffic in Google, then you are going to get great results from everywhere else as well.
How is the data that Push Button Keywords useful to your typical customer?
With the data PBK gives you, you will be finding phrases that are great for Adsense, Affiliate marketing or ecommerce sites… plain and simply, the data that PBK gives you will allow you to rank at the top of Google for each and every site you create.
What things did you find you could eliminate from Push Button Keywords to make it simpler for users?
I didn’t include things like “is this exact phrase available” stuff simply because even if the exact phrase isn’t, chances are that a slight variation is… so no matter what phrases you choose you will get your exact domain name. For example, the phrase “dog obedience training at home” may not be available and so someone would ignore this phrase because they can’t buy the domain.
But, maybe “learn dog obedience training at home” is available and you now have you exact phrase and also added another option that you can rank for, you can rank for both “dog obedience training at home” and “learn dog obedience training at home”
So, by giving them that option you are leaving many phrases that are amazing phrases on the table.
What made you choose the pricing structure you did for Push Button Keywords?
I personally don’t believe that very many people can afford $147/month and I also don’t believe that a keyword research tool needs to cost that much to be good. PBK finds absolutely amazing phrases, quickly, easily, with absolutely no guess work.
Once the software is finished and you sort your results, you know EXACTLY what phrases are going to be VERY easy to rank for and you simply pick the one(s) you want.
And PBK is only $77/year. In my opinion there is no comparison. PBK gives you exactly what you need to be successful at a small fraction of the cost.
So you could be getting great keyword results right now at a fraction of what you would be spending on IM Eye… So what are you waiting for?
